RQops.dev ("RQops", "we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered sales recovery service. We work with online course creators, certification programs, and coaching businesses to recover revenue from abandoned checkout leads through automated outbound calling.
We operate as both a data controller (for data about our business clients and our website visitors) and a data processor (for prospect data passed to us by our business clients for the purpose of outbound calling).
Contact: privacy@rqops.dev
We collect and process different types of data depending on who you are:
If you are a website visitor:
| Data | Purpose | Legal Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Pages visited, time on site | Understanding how our website is used so we can improve it | Legitimate interest |
| Name & email (if you contact us) | Responding to your enquiry | Consent / Contract |
| IP address | Security and fraud prevention | Legitimate interest |
If you are a business client:
| Data | Purpose | Legal Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email, company details | Delivering and invoicing our services | Contract |
| Revenue and conversion data | Calculating performance fees and reporting | Contract |
| CRM / webhook access credentials | System integration for lead detection | Contract |
If you are a prospect called by RQops on behalf of a client:
| Data | Purpose | Legal Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name, phone number, email | Contacting you about a product or service you expressed interest in | Legitimate interest / Consent given to original business |
| Call recording | Quality assurance, compliance, and dispute resolution | Legitimate interest |
| Call outcome (e.g. purchased, declined) | Performance reporting to our client | Contract |
RQops calls prospects only on behalf of our business clients, using contact details those prospects provided directly to that business via an opt-in form. We do not source, purchase, or independently acquire prospect contact lists.
Our business clients are contractually required to confirm that prospects have provided lawful consent to receive follow-up communications as part of their opt-in process. RQops relies on this warranty from clients.
At the start of every call, our AI agent:
- Identifies itself as an AI assistant acting on behalf of the business the prospect contacted
- References the specific product or service the prospect showed interest in
- Gives the prospect an immediate, frictionless option to opt out of further contact
Any opt-out request is actioned immediately and permanently. The prospect's number is added to a suppression list and will not be contacted again.
We use the data we hold strictly for the purposes described above. Specifically, we do not:
- Sell personal data to any third party
- Use prospect data for any purpose other than the recovery call on behalf of the originating business
- Use client data for marketing to their competitors or any other business purpose
- Train AI models on call recordings or personal data without explicit written consent
We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- With our business clients — call recordings, outcomes, and reporting relevant to their campaigns
- With technology service providers — infrastructure, telephony, and CRM integration providers necessary to deliver our service. These providers are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes
- With legal or regulatory authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of individuals
We do not share data across clients. Prospect data from Client A is never visible to Client B.
We retain data for the minimum period necessary:
| Data Type | Retention Period |
|---|---|
| Call recordings | 90 days, then permanently deleted unless a dispute is open |
| Prospect contact data | Deleted within 30 days of campaign end or client termination |
| Client billing records | 7 years (legal / tax requirement) |
| Opt-out / suppression lists | Retained indefinitely to honour opt-out requests |
| Website analytics | 26 months |
